Poonam Gunjal

Chief Heart Officer & Founder

My work centers on remembrance, helping people return to themselves beneath stress, pressure, and habitual ways of coping. I bring together nervous system science, embodied awareness, intuitive coaching, and over twenty years of leadership experience across biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic environments. Much of my career has been spent supporting people who carry responsibility and lead others, often in complex, high-pressure, and global contexts.

I’m a certified Hogan coach and have taught Hogan-based leadership and self-awareness programs internationally, across diverse organizational and cultural settings. My academic background includes a degree in Molecular Biology, a Master’s in Organizational Management, and an Executive MBA. I’m currently completing my Master of Social Work, with a focus on trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware practice.

My professional background also includes leadership work within the psychedelic medicine space, where I supported principal investigators and research teams across global contexts and gained a deep understanding of the full arc of drug development, from early research through commercialization. This experience shaped how I think about nervous system plasticity, altered states, and the responsibility required when working with powerful inner experiences, as well as the importance of integration, ethics, and care.

Alongside my formal training, I’m trained in Ayurveda, Yoga, Reiki, mindfulness, and somatic practices. These inform my work in grounded, practical ways. From this integration, I developed NSRR, Nervous System Regenerative Remembrance, a simple framework that supports regulation, awareness, and the remembering of inner safety.

I’m also the founder of The Naina Foundation, a grassroots nonprofit that redistributes clothing and essential items to underserved communities. Service and remembrance are deeply connected for me, both rooted in dignity, care, and presence.

Speaking is one of the ways my work reaches beyond the session room. I speak on leadership, nervous system awareness, emotional safety, and the inner conditions that support meaningful change.

Clients often describe my presence as calm, clear, and grounding. My intention is not to fix or push, but to create enough safety for remembering to happen naturally.
